Orlando Magic Select WFTV Channel 9, TV 27 as New Broadcast Home
The Orlando Magic have selected WFTV Channel 9 and WRDQ-TV 27 as the team's new local television broadcast partners beginning with the 2026-27 season. Last result: Detroit Pistons 116-94 Orlando Magic (2026-05-03). The multi-year partnership with Cox Media Group will make Channel 9 and TV 27 Central Florida's free, over-the-air home for Orlando Magic basketball and related team programming.
What Happened?
Under the agreement, all locally distributed Orlando Magic regular-season games, excluding nationally exclusive broadcasts, will air on WRDQ-TV 27. Select games will also air on WFTV Channel 9. The partnership will bring Magic basketball to households throughout the team's television territory, including Orlando, Tampa, and Gainesville. Games will also be available in Jacksonville through Action Sports Jax TV on CBS 47.2.
